We aim to provide quality healthcare and education to the disadvantaged communities and create opportunities for talented youth through a business incubation center, enabling them to become agents of change for the future.

The Wain Foundation was established in 2013 as a mission-driven non-profit organization focusing on critical areas of education and health. At present, the Foundation is running an early education school, with all modern amenities, for almost 140 students and a Medical Center, equipped with modern diagnostic equipment, providing free healthcare to 60 to 80 patients daily.

In addition, the Foundation is engaged in improving civic amenities in the communities where its School and Medical Center are located. The services provided include free medical care to the people; clean water facilities for the residents; and social awareness campaigns on health, hygiene and community living.

To tap the latent potential in the youth and to foster spirit of responsible entrepreneurship, the Wain Foundation, in collaboration with the University of Sargodha, has established a state-of-the-art incubation center. It was formally inaugurated by the Governor of Punjab in December 2023.

Other initiatives that the Wain Foundation plans to undertake in the near future include; Need-based Scholarship Program for talented students; establishment of an immunization center at the Wain Medical Center; providing water filtration plant facilities at the Medical Center and the School for community use; establishing three new early education schools in different underprivileged areas; and solar power solutions and efficient air conditioning at the Wain Foundation schools and the Medical Center.

The purpose of the Wain Foundation is to bring hope, well-being and economic empowerment to the underprivileged people, with dignity and respect.

Foundation For Water

Clean drinking water is not a privilege, it's a right and yet many living in underprivileged communities are deprived of it. More than 60 percent of endemic diseases in Pakistan are waterborne and can be prevented. Such diseases are a major cause of infant mortality in Pakistan.The Wain Foundation plans to bring the gift of pure water to as many as possible. We have installed a couple of water filtration plants as stand-alone facilities and are in the process of installing a similar facility next to our school and free clinic. Similar filtration plants would be established in our future network of clinics and schools.

To improve civic amenities in the community around our school, the Foundation is evaluating the feasibility of setting up communal bathrooms with running water. Community members are encouraged to improve cleanliness and general hygiene around their households, in the hope of improving overall health and the environment.

Foundation For Education

Possible sites for new schools are being explored.

Research and development is one area where much needs to be done. Often research suffers because adequate funds are not available. The Wain Foundation is examining the possibility of extending research grants to eligible projects in the fields of IT and Engineering. It is our ambition to promote and develop innovative and cutting-edge technologies in Pakistan.

Foundation For Health

Despite initiatives taken by the government, the availability of quality healthcare in Pakistan is either extremely expensive or substandard. In marginalized communities, it is practically nonexistent. The Wain Foundation is ready to do its bit by establishing a network of free clinics where patients would be treated with dignity and respect and provided free medicines, ECG, and ultrasound scans. Our clinics would also serve as a focal point for social awareness programs on preventive medicine, healthy living, and population welfare. We are also in touch with the Public Health Department to establish an immunization center at our existing clinic. To further expand the footprint of our health services, we are studying the possibility of starting mobile clinics to serve areas where setting up structured clinics might not be possible.

Need-Based Scholarships

It is sad that a lot of talented and otherwise qualified students cannot study in good technical universities for want of financial support. The Wain Foundation has decided to help such students by offering need-based scholarships that would cover their entire tuition fees. To begin with students seeking admissions to the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, University of Sargodha, and Beaconhouse National University shall be accommodated through a transparent and non-discriminatory selection process. The main criteria for selection would be merit and financial need. At a later stage, students going to other universities shall be added along with students seeking arts as a discipline. The objective is to make the scholarship program as impactful as possible.
